check out the m-audio audiobuddy preamp....clean sounding sturdy basic preamp....probably can find it pretty cheap on ebay...its like $75 retail.

So, these were the two mics i was considering for an upgrade...3035 less siblance, ha, i need that....my current mic is kinda harsh with the siblance. I have someone comming over ot record this weekend, and she has a rode nt1a, so imma have her bring her mic and try it out with my current setup.

yeah,...but 3035 going for like 140 on ebay now new....shipped.

You have to be good in order to fuck with good equipment?
    No you don't, lol.
How do you think people learn new equipment?
Noones buys a new pre, an upgrade at that, and already knows exactly how to get the best sound from it, not even me, you gotta work with it, to learn it's full potential.

Arcane, he said Mr. Knoxville, he emant me.

Let me tell you something Mr Fice, I DO own a studio, and I'm in the middle of moving it from Illinois to Knoxville, I've been doing this as a job since 1998.
So you tell me, when I sit in a studio, infront of a monitor rather recording or not, I have time to jump on here.
And ontop of that, not only would I rather be on here helping out the future of hip hop and producers when I have the chance, but I'll do it as long as my schedule allows me.

I don't down people with low budgets, I down stupid decisions.
Like... choosing a Soundblaster over an upgrade, or using $19 walmart headphones as monitors.
