nirvana is overrated like a motherfucker, they brought about the gayest look in fashion in the 90s. Thanks to them everyone wanted to look like a grungy lumberjack. And sadly i fell victom to the plaid fad in junior high.

    Same here.

Now if I try to listen to the rap songs I loved I get bored halfway through.

Kurt was honestly one of the best ever lyrically, but you're hand jive, so no need to try to explain myself.

Rage against the machine had the most overrated lyrics, and I liked the band a lot. People liked them for their energy, not the rap/poetry shit.

90s rap brought along the worst fashions, even worse than the british colonists.

wtf are u smokin kid? hip hop fashion didnt get wack until all these no name hip hop brands started appearing in 2000. Until then ther 90s were most about baggy jeans, hoodies, dickies & timbs. Not multicolor boarder homosexual attire. Thats why i switched up to lookin all clean cut and shit, amungst other reasons.

yea, rap just bores the fuck out of me now.

i'll still pull out my bone collection every now and then, but I just don't get the same feel out of it.

yea, i liked kurt a lot lyrically.

but i can understand why people who aren't big on nirvana would consider him wack.

you could tell at times he just totally didn't give a fuck about lyrics. he would just write shit if it fit the riff and for the sake of filling an album. but most of the true blue early grunge bands were like that.

but when he was at his highest peak lyrically (heart-shaped box, come as you are, etc) - symbolism, metaphore usage....he could be amazing.

    and diddles..

rob zombie's song concepts were all inspired by horror films.

any fuck face can write a song based on a movie they watched.

marilyn manson was easily the best of the 90s industrial goth shit. he's a much better lyricist and all around musician than people really give him credit for. the media just gave him the index finger treatment and casted him aside as nothing but shock value. he actually knew how to make a real concept album, and most of his song ideas are so unreal and fucking demented that they're ingenius.

the goo goo dolls could never make a song about a world where all women dance in cages and have their jaws wired shut.

i seriously think diddles pretends to like shitty, amazingly gay bands just to be made fun of.

i think the attention is just satisfying.

he's like the only person who needs ridicule to keep him from committing suicide.

I respect most people's opinions if they choose to feel that way.

Just not hand jive, he's a fuckin' idiot.

Manson kicks so much ass, even though I hate his voice.

Guy can take a shitty 80s song and make it sound great.
