I drop bombs like Hiroshima.
I got to go with the chronic. Old school gansta shit. "fu#% with dre day" "let me ride" "nothin but a g-thang" "rat tat tat tat" .... need i say more.
always felt he was all style
both define each coasts, respectively.
but "up from the 36 chamberssssssssssssss, it's the ghooossssssst-facccccccccccccccce, killlllllahhhhh" trumps everything.
He had some nice lines... and Lady of Rage was dope, too... was she the first 'gangsta bitch' on the mic? I can't recall anybody before her coming all hard like that... well, there was Boss... so scratch that.
lol I'll let u get away with this one simply because you are close. Its more like 1988 forward. but the chronic heavily inspired BIG, which then inspired all the violent NY drug dealing murdering shit that wasn't that popular in NY b4 1994.
i honestly don't understand how anybody could think Enter the Wu is even remotely better.
I'd say Enter the Wu has aged a lot better
Chronic is one of the greatest albums ever.

36 chamberz was a lesson in mc'ing and from a musical standpoint it all depends if you prefer samples over instrumentalization. The only person on the chronic that could fuck with the Wu from a lyrical standpoint was Kurupt and that's it.
It's not like Wu was all lyrics, it had a different concept than The Chronic, two very differenc concepts and atmospheres. I personally like the one one 36 Chambers the most.
