wtf.. just... wtf.
Just out of curiosity..whats the 1 good track?
1 Resonible doubt
2 LIfe styles
I think 36 chambers instead of lifestyles would have been a better comparison.
illmatic and reasonable doubt are equal to me and i dont like big L when he was on dust so i dont listen to it
all good albums
I would say Reasonable Doubt why becuase I have my own opinion instead of posin on the itnernet
that album is hte most entertainin of hte 3
reasonable doubt is one of the greatest albums ever, and one of my personal favs. jay mixes great production with extremly great lyrics, and great hooks. jay is a great song writer.
reasonable doubt has more replay value then both of the other albums
and illmatic is also one of the sickest albums ever, but doubt is just more variance and more musical
that is the best way to describe why jay z is great, overall.
I just don't think lifestyles is in that category kidd, but just my opinon.
It should be like: Illmatic, Ready to Die, Reasonable Doubt
But I've listened to Reasonable Doubt and Illmatic from start to finish plenty of times.
Jay is a bit realer, but Nas's flow is just far too advanced. I mean Jay really isn't even close. Alot of listener's prefer Jay's personality over Nas, but its not a personality contest. Production-wise Jay's CD's have always been better, but lyrically, Jay has never dropped lyrics as smooth, raw, and original as "N.Y. State Mind", "Halftime", and "Ain't Hard to Tell", he just hasn't.
The bottom line is this if you enjoy Production over lyrics, your going to feel Jay-z more. But if you really feel like rap = Lyrical ability > production..then you can't help but favor Nas.
Illmatic [best Rap album Ever]..(by far over Reasonable Doubt) [which is in the top 5].
Lifestylez has the same type of sound/style. Ready to die doesnt.
illmatic then lifestylez....
reasonable doubt hands down
When you say sound/style are you talking about production ?
Because when I grade a CD I try an look past that, I look at the artist flow, lyrics, and things of that nature.
Illmatic, Ready to Die, Reasonable Doubt....Ready to Die has to be included in my opinon.
nah, I'm talkin bout flow pretty much. Biggie doesnt have the same type of flow I think in that cd, these 3 have the same type of fast paced flowing.
That song thats like "LIFES A BITCH AND THEN YOU DIEEEEEEEEEE BUT YOU NEVA KNOW WHERE YA GONNA GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LIFES A BITCH AND THEN YOU DIEEEEEEEEEE!"
You know that one, you know what i'm talking about home slice? [rwa]
