my parents got a 7 bedroom house btw too.

the place that i got with my friends is about a hour away.

and thats like a few of us who throw down, our party house.

if i were to go live by myself it would be pretty far from were i am at as property expense around here.

Nope. Only in the U.S. is it thought to be awkward by some people.

it's only awkward if you're a useless fuck who doesn't help out around the house or pay them a little bit of rent

if you're fortunate enough to have parents who can give you a decent roof over your head while you save up enough to get a house on your own then count your blessings

Another thing, the majority of the people who complain about others living with their parents too long:

    1) Had deadbeat parents
    2) Had parents who didn't allow them to stay at home (not as a lesson to make them grow up, but simply because they didn't want them to)
    3) Were old-school (parents who had you when they were in their 40's)

It's simply jealousy. They weren't afforded the opportunity, therefore they put it down.

    Not really

I barely talk to my parents.

I have the whole top floor

Got a bedroom a studio and a bathroom

Thats all I need for now

Id rather live home and try to save money to eventually get a spot than die tryin to make rent every month along with all my other bills

Location and the economy has a lot to do with it to. NJ blows when it comes to living on your own

That $900-1000 a month for a small 1 bedroom apt without utilities isnt worth it imo

Especially when I only get paid $1300 a month and have aeound $800 in bills already
