Welcome to another week of your RBL Mag. Aside from a no show from Beyond.. it was a really good week. I had some solid verses to go over last week. We have some newcomers this week; tacitus and GetitDuhn are apparently aliases, and Ion has been around before. Let's hope they all show up to their battles. Highlights should be good, we had mostly dope verses last week; good job guys. Power rankings are completely jacked up by various losses and losses by links; not voting drops your rank slightly imo, since you would be less likely to win if you don't vote (lol @ less likely). I have some ideas for my outro this week; I have a big mouth that can't stay shut...pause. Hope you enjoy the ensuing Mag. Have a great weekend, vote in between periods of inebriation and show up for your battles.

    C. Sonny Daze(7-1)
    2. RicoSuave(3-1)

Was I really the only vote for you guys? Sorry about that, I hate to see that. More on this later. Rico only had one line that I liked:

Our last battle was a controversial to say the least
Brown Jesus, got Breathless, when he fantasized how u'd Slay the :::Beast:::

Sonny had an average verse, but lines like:

Beavis Suave ain’t gonna “score”, he’ll be forever alone.
Just ‘cause you got past a BJ, doesn’t mean that you’re rounding 3rd and heading for home

Were really connecting. Another consistent verse for Sonny leads to another win. Something will have to be done soon, Sonny is approaching the record for title defenses.

    3. Beyond…(1-0)
    4. Gramur(1-0)

Beyond.. no showed. Gramur actually had a nice verse; aside from his opener and some issues with wording, it was good and consistent. I feel like wording is a general issue withmost of our verses; I'm not sure how to define it really tbh. Wording can set the flow, but it plays a huge role in the punch. Think of a comedian and how he tells his jokes; the wording should accentuate the pause. The wording ties the setup to the punch, too.

this garbage man is sad, frontin' like his writing is perfect
^he gathers all the trash..honest, he recycles his verses!!

This is a good example from your verse where the wording worked setup -> punchlines.

there's no wit in his plays, this 'tard is searching for rhymes
And he's got a learning curve Sammy Sosa couldn't hit in his prime

This was dope; the wording was good, too. I think the setup could be tied to the punch better, but the flow was on point due to your wording here.

anyways, good verse Gram; vote next time.

    5. Calibre(1-2)
    6. Brown Jesus(1-2)
    7. Breathless(8-25)

While there wasn't much suspense here, Cal posted way too late, once he did post , it was a good battle. We both had some good personals, since we have somewhat of a recent history, and I know Cal from RBL back in the day. If Cal would've posted earlier I would have given this BotW. Breathless no showed.

    C. Sonny Daze(8-1)
    2. Brown Jesus(2-2)

If I can sneak in an hour today, this should be good. If not, then I will have to post something I pretty much keyed up, which means it won't be good... for me. I think Sonny takes this one either way.

    3. RicoSuave(3-2)
    4. Gramur(1-1)

I think Gramur will drop another good one this week and overpower Rico.

    5. Calibre(1-3)
    6. Tacitus(0-0)

    Calibre if he shows :fu:

    7. Ion Metatron(0-0)
    8. Get it Duhn(0-0)

    Ion if he shows :fu:

    Last Weeks highlights

This chain’s glued to my neck, I’m a slave that no one wants to emancipate
It kills me to know I could drop the VotW, but still with every chance you take
You’ll still have Cali’s vote, like the democratic presidential candidate.
    SonnyDaze

Beavis Suave ain’t gonna “score”, he’ll be forever alone.
Just ‘cause you got past a BJ, doesn’t mean that you’re rounding 3rd and heading for home
    SonnyDaze

so worthless to the league but thinks he's an idol...
his arrival was less anticipated than Calibre winning a title
    Gramur

I hope he takes my advice, enough with sellin' dem dreams
boring us with a week post like RBL magazines
    Gramur

I've figured ya wack by reviewing what you did on the cache. .
How did you fill in the gaps? -> no shows, delivering trash. .?
The MOD position shouldve only been given to TAC
Cos you been here 4 weeks
    . . . . . . . . . . . .N STILL aint won a legitimate match.! BITCH
    Calibre

So don't act like your ill, you should be stepping in cautions. .
    Or fall dead in accordance..
. . .Cos in the MAG you gave me so many quotas I thought u were selling insurance!
