roflmao, and you wonder why they say don't let kids play near freezers.

hell you should try to get something with more space hell. if you can section off a corner of your house and like get some particle board and build it into a booth with the foam that should work as well. you could drill a hole through the board and have a mic run thru it and all and probably even get some plexi glass up so you can look out of that mug. hell if you want i could probably draw you up a design so you can have an idea if what i mean. i know a lil about construction. but the basic trick is building it to sound proof it. hell could probably even use something like cardboard to thicking the particle board and block out outside sounds and buffer it with say oh insulation the type that you put up in the walls of your house.

You dont need a recording booth, or a frigerator box to record in..

I record in the corner of my spare room...

Why waste money on foam , or blankets ? You dont need it..

    Just my opinion.

lol...that would be ghetto as fuck man....

ive always thought about the idea of take'n two pieces of particle board..and puttin hinges on them to hold them together...then somethin like inside a fridge door along the hinges to cut it off....then all you have to do is post it up in the corner of your room and it would box you into the wall....just put eggcrate or somethin on the inside of each of the boards...it would work...as for a top for it i never got that far into thinkin about it.

3rd inf its not all about mixing, its a given fact that sound waves travel bounce and reflect off walls and cause disturbances through mediums, distorting the sound resulting into a sound you don't want, so I do believe even the littliest things like having a booth matters..listen to major labels album, stuff sounds super clear I mean flawless because every little detail matters even if that certain echoe...that took em a long time to make only takes a second to listen knowing that that second that took minutes is not goin to be appreciated by the listeners...

Just work around what you have. No need to pretend were gonna make it in music.
Just record and have fun with it.
