I remember MC Pooh on the Juice soundtrack sounding a lot like Too Short... Game sounds like more Dr. Dre, at times... I guess it's that Compton accent.

Carlton Fisk from Meth's Tical album sounds like Lord Finesse... Saigon sometimes sound like Jay Z.

That first dude rappin' on The Roots "C.L.O.N.E.S." song sounds like Ghostface

    Anotha Level sounds like Pharcyde

    Paris sounds like Rakim

Big K.R.I.T. used to sound like Pimp C on his first mixtape

That dude who does the L.A. Leakers promo on those leaked rap songs I download sounds like Busta Rhymes.

I used to think MOP sounded like Onyx when they first came out.

    Kurupt sounds like D-Nice

    Childish Gambino sounds like Kanye

That chick on Cormega's Legal Hustle album sounds like Foxxy Brown

Phonte used to sound like Prodigy on The Listening

Big Pooh sounds like that dude from The Nonce... remember that song "I used to sell mixtapes, but now I'm an MC"?

That other dude from The Nonce sounds like Magoo from Timbaland's old clique.

Anotha Level... Pharcyde jackers... even Fat Lip subliminally called attention to them on Labcabincalifornia:

I still liked this song and their album, though.

How does Macklemore sound anything like Slug other than they are white? Flow wise and voice wise, very different.

whoa, I actually agree with the OP...

I mean slug is 1000s better, but there voices are the same and they both rap kind of like they are talking rather than rapping.

and why does everyone get so offended when the two are compared? they are so fucking similar... both run their own labels, both rap about everyday life problems like addiction...

people keep acting like macklemore is the worst thing in hip hop when he might have just saved the genre.

mackelmore is good, I like a lot of his music, but people who hear a comment that doesn't sound as possive as they think it should, and they get all "he is the savior" like.....dude is still a part of the music industry, and the music industry/major distribution deal, is a part of major business....dude isn't saving things....

He just found a little niche that turned out to be a big niche.....slug doesn't sound similar to me....
