Not sure what your point is
just tailor your verse so the rhymes pop more because people are too lazy to find them sometimes if you rhyme in an unorthodox fashion.
as much as i'd hate to throw myself into the middle of this..
i think "nearest" and "spirit" is fine...
on the other hand..
"fear" and "we're" rhymes...
"fear" and "were" doesn't..
not sure if that's what the discussion is about, i just skimmed this last page
the lines were (expressives bolded)
...stop fear, dead in it's tracks
...the spot we were at already
when saying "we were" it ends up sounding like "we're" when the more defined rhymes are before and after it
like how (random multis, no meaning here...)
"man, knowing won't" and "can't join a note" and "yea, so we don't" end up sounding different out loud and actually can be pulled off as a fair rhyme when the first and last parts are the expressed
