If you can't be satisfied with east coast hip hop, then why can't we be unsatisfied with contemporary R&B? Out of those names you listed, I'm only feelin' Badu... J-Hud got some good tracks, but the fact that T-Pain is on there wrecks it... in fact, T-Pain destroys any song that he's on... and I don't mean in a good way... everybody else? Ehh... I haven't given Solange a chance, though, because I see her as another "Ray J"... kid sibling tag-along.... Keyshia is fuckable, but I don't like her music. There's like 3-5 new names I'm feelin' in R&B over the last 5 years... Corrine Bailey Rae, J-Hud (great voice and song-writing, if only she can limit those guest appearances), Chrisette Michelle, Robin Thicke, and some of Anthony Hamilton, although he's not brand new... he didn't really blow until '03 or '04.
