Question about creatine

    Actually the most important thing to pair with creatine is high glycemic carbohydrates to facilitate transport into the muscle cells. Protein is good, but it doesn't have to be taken at the same time. Regardless of protein or not, creatine is going to super saturate your muscle cells with water by volumization.

    i took creatine for a few months and noticed huge gains not only in size but in strength.. definitely recommend it

    I don't take shakes / whey / or creatine...but i'd speculate that proteins are way more important than creatine...and yes you are supposed to get alot of protein before and after a workout...within 70 minutes of hitting the weights ...both before & after.

    of course they are, but we're talking about the benefits of creatine, not protein.

    you need carbs before and after a workout. take the creatine with a post-workout shake.
