Both of these samples were done with an EMU-1212M soundcard and an M-Audio DMP3 preamp.

I applied noise reduction and 2.5:1 compression.

It sounded like the KSM32 had a bit more bass in your voice. Both should sound better, both sound hollow. Are you in a booth or an open room? Hahaha why you say "Shure KSM32" like that. lol Are you european or something?

im in an open room but i have a piece of foam behind the mic.

how am i supposed to say it? lol it's not like i rehearsed this i just plugged em in and recorded then uploaded quickly to check the quality...

but anyways im selling the AKG to my friend and keepin the shure for myself...

i also have a marshall v67 but i didn't bother posting that one up cuz i doubt it can compete with the shure and akg.

Maybe that sound is from the open room, dunno really. With that mic and pre it should be sounding better though.

that m-audio pre is over-rated...i think running that mic straight to a mobile pre is better.

It's not over rated, it's the best in it's price range.
All of M-Audio's shit is based off a previous design, you REALLY think that sloppy ass mobile pre is better?
    Get a clue.

Yea, duh your in an open room, that's not acoustically treated...what do you kids expect?
I swear, some of you want pristine quality, and you've ghettofied every damn thing, it will not happen.

yeah but dzk's got the same mic and i highly doubt his room is "acoustically treated" and he's using some lil mixer (which is worse than the dmp3) and i think he has a delta but im sure his quality is better cuz of the mixing though.

He has a delta 44. I'm pretty sure DZK has a booth atleast, probably not professionally treated, but has a room with foam surrounding it or something. I hear no reverb in his shit.
DZK's quality is okay, his vocals are tiny as fuck. If you listen to M. Laws diss track on Kamikaze (He recorded at DZK's crib and DZK mixed it for him) M Laws vocals didn't even sound good. I suggest you soundproof ya room, it'll help alot. It's worth it.

Goddamnit you are not them, do not expect your quality to be the same.
NOONES quality is the same, noones mixing, nor vocals are the same.

You kids...all this time Ive teached and teached, and you've slept through class lmao

where can i hear mlaws diss track at kamikaze?

i talked to FAT and he said when he recorded at dzks house they were just sitting down next to the comp so i doubt he has a booth.
