    It seems like it's extremely hard to do that tho, considering it seems like the second someone gets signed the labels already at it trying to create a gimmic for the artist.
    Either way tho more power to any emcee that gets on MTV, BET or the radio, the main thing about going mainstream is being able to show the world you have skills and also to be able to support yourself getting paid for doing what you love to do.
