    but people can notice flaws
if the joint is mixed horribly itll sound crowded

and u dont get the right effect
you shouldnt spend 1 week mixing one beat

but you should atleast have it so its coherent

It dont take but 20 minutes to throw a rough mix on a beat so everything is leveled.

u should mix as u add instruments....pan and use the space provided....just to get a good reference mix, so ppl have an idea of what the track bangs like...after u done, hit the master fader with a multi-band compressor and even the bands out so errything is hittin at the same relative signal and then finish it off with the L2 maximizer......

shouldnt take more than 5 minutes if u kno what ur doin.....

^ well I eq the instruments straight outthe triton . only because i transfer my midi to audio a different way. if i was jus leveling it would prolly take 5 - 10 minutes.

Of course. I'm sayin, Just to present to labels, I eq as well. When teh REAL track is done, I bypass all effects and record everything Raw... then EQ

I'm talking solely on mixin instrumentals down for people to hear.

I feel you but on the real....if you are making a beat and your kick isnt hitting hard enough for you while you are making the beat...layer it with another kick, or add a lil distortion, or use whatever tools you have to beef it up at that time...why continue making a track if you arent feeling certain elements and know they are problematic....thats why most workstations and vst's alike have effects in them...make your track sound good real time...and you wont have to worry about a bad mix.

People these days rely too much on shit they can control....If you make your beat with the vibe you want..you dont have to worry about getting it right in the mix....if you mix a track with a good balance and spacing...you dont have to worry about getting it right in the mastering stage.

    Good post though

im the one that needs the education..... b u pull the race card.... your comment was simply "your white" and "thats doesnt really count as ethnicity" sociological studies have absolutely nothing to do with you beingas simple minded as insulting someoen based on there skin color...

maybe next time you should pay attention in your sociology class and really learn what its all about cuz your comments are part of the reason why there is racial tension .........
