  1. The first hour of last night's three-hour TNA iMPACT scored a 1.69 rating with 2.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched hour of TV in TNA history.

The second hour slipped to a 1.44 rating but featured the most-watched 15 minutes in TNA history with a 1.88 quarter-hour rating for Hulk Hogan's debut at 9PM EST, head-to-head with Bret Hart's return on WWE's RAW.

The least-watched segment of the show came at the end of the second hour with a 1.16 quarter-hour rating with the Pope vs. Wolfe match and AJ Styles interview. This segment went up against the DX vs. JeriShow match on RAW.

The third hour of iMPACT dropped to a 1.22 rating. The range of quarter-hour ratings was between 1.17 and 1.30. The third hour peaked in the final 15 minutes of the show with a 1.30 rating. This was the end of Angle vs. Styles and the Foley beatdown from Hall, Nash and Sean Waltman with Hogan watching.

to be honest, vince is absolutely right when he believes, TNA isnt eve non WWEs level yet..they still have a long way to go before they can actually compete with the WWE, quality wise they even and have better matches but they simply dont have the popularity and prestige of a WWE

  3. they can get as many big names they want and they won't be bigger than wwe.. hell wwe aint really got any big names

i dont know why you hate me so much that youre gonna try and defend this sign. were you the loser holding the thing? if your gonna hold up tna, and then directly below it put The New (TN) and then put era afterwards (directly under the A) then youre a moron. either you just suck or youre a retard

so you're going off the early estimation. and 5.6 million viewers in the first hour would likely be a 3.6 for the first hour. 1 million viewers does not = a 1.0 rating.

Raw rating wasn't that big of an increase. WWE was expecting more, but let's face it - wrestling isn't the "in" thing right now. That's why there's almost zero chance for TNA to win a war with WWE.

  13. wrestling observer said they had a huge increase in ratings but never came back with the results.. they just said 5.6 million in the first hour

But also that 5.6 million viewers would mean a 3.7 or 3.8 rating.

The 1/4 edition of Raw did a 3.6 rating, which is the same number that they did last week. The show did hours of 3.51 and 3.73. Hour one did 5,441,000 viewers while hour two did 5,773,000. They averaged 5,600,000 for the broadcast.

As Mike mentioned yesterday, the 1/4 Impact did a 1.5 rating. The opening hour did a 1.69 and 2,536,000 million viewers, while the the two hour block against WWE did a 1.33 in the second two hours and 2,034,00 viewers. The five minute overrun did a 1.26. They averaged 2,200,000 viewers, which is just awesome.

WWE got good news with the 1/2 edition of AM Raw, which did a 1.14 rating. That is the best number in a long time, maybe ever.

did you read Heyman's blog about what SpikeTV's intentions were? It seems as though Spike is testing out programing against WWE. Which is why next week they are running UFC opposite WWE. They see WWE as weak right now and seeing where they can do damage to them. Read Heyman's blog about it, but yeah essentially it was a success, you also have to consider they didn't loose viewers, but had the most viewers for a single episode of Impact in their history

  18. not if they expected to get a 3.0.. hogan even said if they didn't get a 3.0 he was gone

lol@people saying ufc is going head to head.. when dana said he doesn't want to compete.. spike simply wanted the fights for that night
