Can someone tell me what this is about? I don't get it.
getting knocked out by a runner runner flush, ouch haha
Im a prop-player at a poker room. I get paid hourly to play and help keep the table full. I gamble with my own money, get to keep my winnings, but i dont get to choose when i go in and out of a game. If a table gets shorthanded I fill the seat.
damm,never heard bout this b4,..
Do they watch you ?
you had a good run
good luck for next year
you mean like monitor how you play? naw, if you got the $ to play when they need you, you can play as good or bad as you want. Most of our prop players are terrible. its a pretty common job at smaller poker rooms in Cali.
Shoulda went Phil Hellmuth on him, nah mean?
i gotta go to visit my fam in vegas soon,
iam trying to step my card game up.last time i went to vegas.
I struck 3500.it aint much, but it was on in the m.g.m!
That was a donkey post! I can't believe it. Year after year idiots like him get into this forum...... This guy won't make it past tomorrow. What an idiot.
damn, so did you lose all 10 Gs? or did you leave with more then you bought in with
Wow that is pretty crazy. I didn't realize that was a job. Even though you are getting an hourly pay, you probably make most of your money from winnings right? I can only imagine even if you were getting paid like 50 bucks an hour that you would probably lose or win more than that in an hour anyway.
Do you know if you are you gonna get any TV time? Did any people recognize you or any big names recognize you?
Much respect! You lasted longer than a lot of big-timers with bracelets.. I used to pay my bills off of partypoker/stars/etc. but i'd never have the heart to step up on that level..
You might get a glimpse of me in the background of some hands involving MoneyMaker, Mario Ho, barry shulman. They might show a hand i had with Praz Bhansi especially if he keeps doing well. I dunno tho.
Got recognized by three dealers in the tourney and a couple of ametuers in the field, three dudes from Ontario, some fools from Sacramento, some chick i played a LA Classic with at Commerce who became a fan i guess in between tourneys. The only pro who knew who i was and said whatup was Chino Rheem. Madsen busted before i could murk him on camera haha
man thats the sickest job ive ever heard wow
but it must suck if your running bad and not in good spirit to play
chino rheem knows you from the cardrooms or from rap?
tough luck man....sometimes the cards just don't go ur way....my friend is still in, i suspect he was one of ur "ontario" fans...did u learn anything new from the experience or was it just the luck of the draw?
I had a few unlucky instances which really put me in a tough spot by day 3, but it was all still a good learning experience. If i dont lose on day 2 w/ AK vs AK, even if we just chop, Im still looking at an extra 37K in chips, meaning in theory i wouldve gone into day 3 w/ 50k+, and i wouldnt have had to just pick a hand to commit to. The variables are endless tho so i cant dwell on it much. Just gotta get better and comeback more fierce next year, and maybe I'll even run better
Separate names with a comma.
