I'd highly recommend 2 a days for anyone who has the time and wherewithal. You don't need a necessarily double workout, you can split same into two portions - the reason it's so effective is because you get the elevated heart rate @ two different points in the day. Keep your heart / metabolism guessing is key.

Also, @working out 6-8 hours a day is detrimental to muscle strength. It's great for the waistline and fat burning, but not for musculature.

    ^^ This.

Over working is terrible. Do a 1 hour workout, rest for a few hours, go back and do it again. or 2 hours depending on the body part your focusing on.

Galatea you need a life lol Jk. Seriously though how do you exercise for 8 hours a day? 8 hours straight at that.

I would have to bring a cooler into the gym with me to eat about 3 meals.

    :funny:

Easy...I'm extremely hyperactive, so the 8hrs make me mellow down. I'll destroy close to a gallon of water during and around 2kg of fruit afterwards throughout the day atop my reg meals.

Gal, said she works out 8 hrs a day?

I mean, you could consider a labor job a workout, but "working out" 8 hours a day means you aren't going hard enough....

You can get a 45 min workout in that will make your body want to puke....

    Never had a "labor job".

Getting ready for a 42km marathon takes preparation - and I intend to run it in 2hrs40mins tops, otherwise I've wasted my time and lost a bet I don't dare to lose, honestly.

Haven't done separate body part wourkout days because I'll do a full body workout instead.

Always end up mindeffing myself with numbers when I run...1st 12km are a breeze, but the 2nd 12 drag on so badly it starts to annoy me & once I'm past that it's the breathing that still needs work so the last 18 feel like death some days.

Luckily there's 72 days left to get fully ready.
