i havent liked pittsburgh since i saw them in person last year, mainly aaron gray. i like the rest of the team but really have a dislike for gray. this was marquette's first road game of the year and i said earlier marquette is not consistent as most of the other top teams are. couldnt knock down the 3s today, must be the monday bug. took overtime at home to beat idaho state by 3 then the next two games they blow out eastern michigan and detroit by 42 and 33

osu would get BEASTED by ucla at this moment without oden. if all you've got are perimeter players, you will get absolutely manhandled by the bruin's d. oden gives osu a shot. a TINY shot. but a shot.

After watching us struggle against IU, and watching Greg Paulus get owned by a walk on, I'm convinced, we're terrible.

DeMarcus is fine, the problem is K keeps attempting to run the offense through Josh. Josh IS NOT A SCORER. I think the team will be fine later on in the year, but the ACC is tough this season so it could be ugly.

Relax haters, Georgetown will be there in March. And watch out for Maryland. Our team this year is strong. Vasquez and Hayes are precisely the type of point guards we need, Hayes the distributer and occasional long-range shooter(in the mold of Steve Blake), and Vasquez the drive-to-the-lane scorer with emotion. Jones is a sharpshooter, Strawberry is fast and a clamp defender who can score. And Gist with Ebekwe and Osby to add some muscle and points down low. Even lanky-ass goofy Bowers can add some valuable minutes. Plus Brown, Milbourne(future star), and Neal off the bench. A deep, talented, and hungry team. Let's gooooooooooooo, Maryland! Hopefully Georgetown can beat Duke on Saturday and turn it around. We could have a three-headed DC Metro Area contingent in the tourney this year with GW as well.

Who Kares, how did that prediction about Georgetown coming into Cameron and winning work out for you?

last year winthrop, this year north dakota state. the problems i addressed in an earlier post here about marquette were magnified tonight - 4 of 20 from three and 7 of 14 from the line. pathetic is an understatement
