nostalgic? let's compare rappers from 1990-2000 with 2000 onwards ...

    I can see why some people have problems when a teenager says they like rappers from before 2000. For example, my friend and I are way into 2Pac, Eazy-E, and Biggie, yet we're only 16. I think that rappers from before 2000 send a lot more of a personal message, but it all comes back to the media and what's accepted today. Up until about two years ago, I couldn't find myself getting much into older rappers, so I think it's just an acquired thing, because so many people have only heard today's "rappers", so they base what they like based on today's mainstream acceptance.
