Might have to redo my mixtape now.
Im a big Tonedeff fan but that last EP was meh. Didnt like any of the beats they were all too EDM. I know this will be a different style as hes planning to switch it up for the next 3 parts. And I plan on buying it if only to convince myself that its one more release closer to Chico & The Man.
Yeah, I only really liked the title track "Glutton" on that one.
That's how almost everything Tonedeff has put out is, besides Archetype... a couple downright incredible tracks that outclass everyone, and then other stuff on the album that's just not as good and a few meh tracks.
Archetype's the most consistent, with ef@mm trailing a ways behind it. You put all his best tracks together in a good blend and you get a crazy double disc album where he's the GOAT at everything, but it also makes you realize everything else is inconsistency.
I'm tired of waiting for Chico & The Man too... with all Kno production, it has to be consistent. I think when the Polymer project is done (4 discs for the physical release), we'll have a solid handful of epic Tonedeff tracks.
that snippet was horrible.
yall like that type of stuff or just convince yourself that you do?
Different strokes for different folks, yo.
Yeah, I like that type of stuff^. Been down with it for 13 years.
updated the op, that track's bonkers... i'm diggin' this EP after a few listens, 'cause it's bassy and bouncy
