i like the composition i dont love the drums though. u need a more solid sounding drumkit.
The audio and video is slightly out of sync but that's alright.
Overall, the beat was nice. Drums sounded decent, could've knocked harder though. The claps during the beat drops were on point. Very nice. Main melody was cool, got a bit repetitive though.
Nice work though man. You have a lot of talent!
Thanks for checking.
I used mostly Sounds in HD here. What do you recommend?
Yea, I gotta figure out how to change that. On my computer its all straight, youtube uploads seem to have a slight delay.
Thanks for checking dude!
to the top!
its dope as fuck, to be quite honest.
Very smooth... keep em coming bro
def dope on the keys
could use some better sounds .. http://theflstudio.blogspot.ca/ <--- most of the posts on here are pretty legit and free for download..
also a couple things that might make your vids more entertaining to watch:
instead of "playing" over the beat while it runs it should be you actually making the beat and breaking it down more each layer at a time.. the way you're doing it seems ungenuine like u made the beat a week ago and ur just air keyboarding over it..(also this way all your beats dont have to progress one sound at a time lol)
Phene! Thanks for checking guys!
Though about it, but workflow wise it makes no sense. I typically work on 3 beats at the same time.
I started this one on monday, added some more on wednesday, and finalized it on friday.
Only shot the video on saturday though.
Would be a bit funny if between the piano and the rhodes I'm wearing an entire different outfit lol.
Plus I really want people the hear the beat. The visuals are just there for fun. I personally never liked beat making videos where you hear the audio coming from the speakers.
Personal preference though.
But definitely thanks for your feedback, and that link you posted is dope!
ehhh to each his own.. you're not really giving any direction or help in terms of making the beat.. theyre meant to be tutorials not music videos lmao.
nah man, I'm not making tutorials lol. I see this as a similar thing to posting songs on soundcloud or soundclick. But instead of just hearing music, you "sort of" get to see what I do.
But as you said, too each his own, I agree
thnx for checking homie
i kno im mad late but i dont visit the forum a whole lot anymore.
i dont really have some set "wah-lah" magic drumkit. i just collect a ton of diff kits and use the sounds i think are best, making sure they fit the track.
definitely dont recommend using a singular kit as your go to. try to collect a nice amount of sounds... a few kick drums u think are really solid, few really solid snares, claps, hats ect.... and build that into a kit of your own that you can predominately re-use.
