trying to get cozy tonight......whats a good thought provoking movie that happens to also stream on Netflix?

any genre will do, long as it's a solid movie. I also have a thing for unheard of actors/independent films when they're not too too amateurish

Hello @g.t. It seems Netflix will no longer let me browse everything that I have watched or I could put together something better...Here are a few off the top of my head that were okay.

    In Bruges
After killing an innocent boy in London, hit men Ray and Ken are ordered to lay low at a bed-and-breakfast in Bruges, Belgium, until their boss phones with further instructions. But when he calls, Ken doesn't like the assignment.

    Flight starring Denzel Washington
After his amazing safe landing of a damaged passenger plane, an airline pilot is praised for the feat, but has private questions about what happened.

Reservoir Dogs <One of my favorites
Quentin Tarantino's directorial debut is raw, violent, often mimicked -- and unforgettable. A botched robbery indicates a police informant, and the pressure mounts in the aftermath at a warehouse. Crime begets violence as the survivors unravel.

The Woman < This one was a weird one but entertaining..
When a sadistic lawyer brings home a feral woman, he locks her in his shed and orders his family to actively participate in her "civilization."

The Road (2000) version There are two movies named The Road
Set in a postapocalyptic future, this end-of-days tale follows two survivors, a father and son, who navigate an ash-covered wasteland in search of a better life -- with only a sliver of hope that salvation awaits them at the end of their journey.

It's hard to find a good movie these days! Ya know! HA HA

The Perfect Host <I believe this was a bit freaky too...Been a while tho..

A fugitive on the lam decides to crash a dinner party. But he seriously regrets it when the mysterious and unusual host soon has him convinced that he would have been better off hiding somewhere else. David Hyde Pierce plays the memorable Warwick Wilson; Nathaniel Parker, Clayne Crawford and Helen Reddy also star in this thriller from first-time feature writer-director Nick Tomnay.
