Okay I've been entered into this fundraiser event for lung cancer (involuntarily) so now I want to do the best I can. It starts March 28th and is basically running up to the top of the second tallest building in Northern CA. Here's the link so you can get the idea. San Francisco Climb California 2009 - Home Anyway, the records is 6 minutes 35 seconds. I don't think I'll even come close to that. I can run long distance, but as you know stairs are a different beast. It's open to the public and usually has close to thousands of people doing it. I just want to be top 10 percent (which I think I can). So give me tips on how to better my stair running/walking, bring down the time and effort. I'd hate to get to the top and have the news watching me gasping for air lol.
