National tradegy vs regional tradegy, what's the difference?

    National tragedy is when the psyche of the nation is damaged and the president has to helicopter in to remind everyone that everything is under control. Regional tragedy is when most Americans feel like "who gives a fuck" ....

    i've for the most part given up on correcting misspellings. haven't done it in recent memory. when dumb people try to act smart by calling out someone else's grammatical errors though...watch out

    Semi-colons are used to separate thoughts. Also, there has to be a clear subject in order to use "done it" or "done so", otherwise you could question whether I was referring to giving up on correcting misspellings, or correcting misspellings. Also, a hyphen separates ideas.

    Yes, the comma is outside of the quotation mark.

    He's saying that since he saw that episode of Family Guy where Stewie points out that Brian cried for Columbine, and Brian defends himself by saying, "It was a national tragedy!" To which Stewie replies, "Ehhh more like a regional tragedy."
