well I saw this one coming. dude if you cant listen to Em for a whole album... you're just on your own.

we've already argued about this one so we'll just leave it down to the fact that with certain rappers we have different tastes.

and remember, I didnt say Em was better than Nas overall. I said Em from 1997-2002 is better.

    Nas slays Eminem overall.

Eminem (at his best) can hold his own against the greatest rappers ever, even though he is far from a conscious rapper, and thats saying something.

See, you like that shit... I don't... this is why you can't understand why I don't like him like that.

His nasally whiny voice over those bubblegum beats dissing pop stars... fuck that.

That's not good music to me.

Em is talented... but if I don't like your voice, I can't listen to you... if I don't like your beats, I can't listen to you... if I don't like your content, I can't listen to you.

Good rap music is more than rhyme schemes.

    Gang Starr > Eminem... lol

I like "Bad Meets Evil," "Guilty Conscience," "Stan," and "Lose Yourself"... "My Name Is..." is probably his best pop song. I also like his verses on "Bitch Please Pt. 2" and "Dead Wrong"... other than that, I'm not really feelin' him like that.

heres the thing though, hes made hundreds of songs just like those at the same quality level. Its not like you're saying you like Hailey's song, which is a one-of-a-kind eminem track.

"Nuttin' to Do" is another one I like... I've always wanted to like Eminem because he's so talented, but he doesn't make music that appeals to me... just like hardcore street shit like Gang Starr and Wu Tang doesn't appeal to you... and it doesn't have to be all hardcore and street, just not poppy and bubblegum... if little girls in Iowa are rockin' to it, chances are I won't...

And Scary Movies. Damn Royce & Eminem should've released a couple of albums back in the day, instead they just released a short EP.

i always liked "off the wall."
I've probably heard at last 90% of Eminem's songs.

At his best he's better than most, but he doesn't get the top spot due to mediocre production, annoying voice at times, and how much he fell off.

I dont like Gangstarr because their boring. I like some wu-tang, but not as much as you guys.

Em's poppy/bubble gum shit was the once per album thing. he had a lot of those songs but his albums aren't littered with them.

what do you think of tracks like amityville or Still Dont Give a Fuck?
