My Music.... I Am Not Aatisfied

    Quality is the issue isn't it? If we can make hit records with artists like Ke$ha and Roscoe Dash, music production has come a long way.

    Like many of you, I record and edit my own shit. At first, it was like "Yeah bitches thats me; lets ride out." Now I criticize every little thing and have found myself in a musical depression.

    I am posting this because I no longer trust my ear... my initial mixdown that is...

    What can I do after I made my final mixdown to ensure this is how it should sound???

    always play it against a professional reference track and try to get as close to that quality that you can..for instance when i finish making a beat i will mix/master it down to how i think it sounds best..then export it and say compare it to a dre instrumental, after doing that i get a better idea of what needs to be boosted or cut.
