    My muse
    I'm searching for you
    You linger
    I try portray you
You're itching the tip of my finger
    My pencil's eager for you
    Anticipating sketching thee
    I'm awaiting your company
    Your hesitance is perplexing me
    Oh muse
    I see your silhouette
    Between clarity and obscurity
    You lurk seemingly shy
    Between distortion and purity
    You are a veiled inspiration
    A phantasm
    I try to discover you
    Claw blindly for you
    Deep in my brain's chasm
    Muse, you tire me
    Drain me
I attempt a grasp for you lamely
    You're nimble
    You elude me
    You're deft
    You're quick to tame me
Muse, I've yet to find and meet you
    You're a frame, a skeleton
    I've yet to complete you
    You are but a reverie
I hope to carve in stone
You dance lasciviously before my mind's eye
    Splitting written seams I've sewn
A game of cat and mouse we play
Until I manage to genially embrace
    This story with no plotline
    This personage with no face

Welcome to the realm, mos def. I thought that this was a well written, topical piece that explained exactly what the title was, basically. I found it quite interesting and how you used each word was divine, as well as delicatly placed within your piece. Nice drop right here, family. My blessings..
