One of the legendary MPC4000s most useful features is Crossfade Loop (or Xfade as its called) THE 4K It is the olny Akai OS MPC to have this feature.
This is a advanced sampling feature that allows you to make smooth loops, useful for creating sustained instruments out of just about anything.
In this tutorial I take a one second Electric Piano (Rhodes) sample and use Xfade loop for create a note you can infinitely sustain.
Then create a keygroup out of it.

As far as I`m aware this is the only tutorial on Crossfade looping to create a sustained instrument, enjoy.
