interesting...were most of the songs on Can-I-Bus re-produced completely or something?

i don't have a problem with Channel Zero though. i mean...it's kinda "soft" sounding...drums are soft and the instrumentation is kinda cheesy but i think it fits the song well enough...

I really don't know. Grand Deception is the only pre-Can-I-Bus track off that album I've ever found. If that is the case though, then I can dfinitely see the whole album coming off nicer... I'm a huge Bis fan, but I could never listen to Channel Zero because of the horrible beat and hook (at least IMO). Grand Deception is ill as fuck though... his flow matches it alot better, and the beat is seriously addictive for me with that stomping bass and the sci-fi melody. It makes the content sound more serious and threatening.

^Right. 'cause beats have nothing to do with appealing to mainstream rap consumers, or getting people to listen to you. All the biggest selling albums of all time have weak beats...

"Can-I-Bus" going gold in the mid 90's = flop? Damn, all the Wu-Tang solos must be flops, 'cause they only went gold too.
