i got it all set up and able to connect to the chatrooms pretty quick, but this isn't recognizing SF3 on the list. Trying another one of the of the 482 versions of Mame.

there is only one other version of third strike I found that worked. it needed to load for roughly 40 minutes or something (simulated the start up disk inside the actual arcade machine) and this was the american version of third strike. every other version of third strike I've found was incompaitble to mame except that japanese version.

You got giant attack working online?

yeah i did that installation with the previous version of mame i had and the single-player worked fine, but i don't think it had kaillera support, so i got the one that does (Plus Plus 0.119). now i'm doing the installation on this one..

also trying to get a Project64 going that will work on Vista, keeps crashing at the moment.

    what's giant attack?

i tired to set up kaillera a while back but i lackd the patience to complete the process and was only skimming through tutorials. I didn't have anybody's ip's to play with anyway

I tried to set up a first annual street fighter tournament in introspecturm but somebody hated

Langzord if you figure it out post what you did

    Should I cop a dreamcast?

i have my xbox and triple in the bedroom and I was thinking for the living room i would put something of a wii but only because this is a more interactive type system. like you could play it with other people and its more lighthearted. But then I was thinking maybe in keeping with that vein of thinking I should just hook up a NES to the HDTV and play old NES games and what not. Like sit down with me and play fist of the north star type shit and duck hunt. Either one of these old systems or a dreamcast. I just never really got into dreamcast. my freind had one and I used to go over his house and play powerstone and shit like that but I never really knew much about the DC other than that.

How many good games are there for the DC? Is it worth copping?
