Lets start out in an exciting corner that's collecting some cob-webs.
With a little under 1.5 Million views,
this Knockout video has caught my attention as of late.
They ruled this a KO but it was a Crying stoppage to me lol.

Luke's next opponent has been announced,
set for October 3rd, not against previous SF-Middleweight Champ 'Jacare'...
Instead, up-and-comer Lorenz Larkin has got the call!
Though largely untested, Larkin has speed and size on his side...
Will he be able to showcase that speed against Luke?? That is a big question.
    Lorenz is young though, at 26, and I expect a finished fight here;
Leaning towards Rockhold doing the finishing currently.
In a corner close-to-home with Strikeforce, Sara McMann,
    Silver-Medalist for America in Submission-Grappling (2004),
30 years young, and arguably in her prime,
(her last fight a Title-Eliminator in InvictaFC, and Fight of the Night)
has been picked up, and expects to debut for Strikeforce Nov.3rd!
(She fights in the 135lb Division)

    HA! (<_<)
    Coming close to a close,
we find ourselves cornered with none other than Dana White,
for some Quotables surely ANY TRUE MMA Fan needs to read:

The GSP/SILVA fight takes precedence as it could break possible gate records,
12.1 Million $ and 55, thousand seats filled is the North-American Record...
The record in Football is 105 thousand, 2009, Basketball 108 thousand, 2010,
and Boxing, 50 thousand, in 2010.

please stop using that dark blue. it's illegible on black backgrounds and burns my eyes.

    lidell was my favorite LHW.

GSP-Silva won't be a good fight in my opinion. i've said it before and i'm gonna stick to it. makes no sense whatsoever. GSP is lacking in all categories compared to Silva except wrestling. if he takes him down, and that's a big if, he'll basically just try to hold him there for the entire time. he has no other chance at doing anything.

and brock vs. fedor is another stupid fight cuz brock will get punched again then run away crying until he gets knocked out.

Larkin vs Rockhold should be sick but i think that Rockhold will have a grappling advantage

Sick pic of the past to present Lightheavyweight champions, for me it was really a draw between Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture as I enjoyed watching both of them fight one would put on kickass performances and the other one would surprise the crap outta me when id think he wasnt gonna win

    Corner Cont...

Interesting Penn Quote on his Career:
Kind of sweet how you can make friends with your enemies (eventually) in MMA,
BJ has done it was Hughes,
and now he credits a 2002 loss to Pulver for keeping him in the game today.

    Thoughts?

Diaz/Hughes/GSP were the only real beatings he took,
the man is a Legend no matter what,
I wouldn't mind an exciting fight with Rory,
but the man is nuts taking that fight...
He needs to look for the big fights @ LW.

im not denying he is a legend, and i wanna see the fight 2.

i just wish he would have taken training seriously years ago. he is only in his early 30's bj penn should be the greatest fighter of all time for his boxing, bjj, and takedown defense. but he is still a big underdog

He is who is is because of what he has done.
I wish he would of been the most dominant champ ever,
but the man wasn't good with choices.
After beating Hughes, winning the WW title,
He fled to a different Organization, loosing the belt.
He has a storied career though, and one anyone can look back at with a smile.

What he did in the later part of his LW existence was nothing short of amazing, defeating legends such as Sherk, Florian and Sanchez in the LW division, all via nasty finish.

I knew someone would give me slack on who I mentioned and I am surprised you mentioned Sherk above all else.

What he did in the welterweight, and Lightweight divisions his whole career was beyond impressive. I am not a Sherk fan by any means but the dudes record is impressive and it is PROVEN he can take a knee...Just not BJs.

Strikeforce always matching up lightweights with their best dudes.

    Corner Continued!

Lets start out with my-least favorite of the news,
here's Coker's thoughts on Strike-force's Middleweight Title bout:

Seems like Coker sees 'Jacare' vs Rockhold as inevitable,
    so they might as well get Lorenz in their before the rematch;
opening up a chance for a Souza/Larkin Title fight.

    Anderson's career is getting INTERESTING.
    He's like watching 90's Bulls...Sick.

Lastly, staying on the same subject of Jon Jones,
here is what Tito Ortiz has to say concerning the current Champ:

A LOT of words from Tito, not all of them wise.
    THOUGHTS FOLKS???

no comment on the silva/gsp fight. just make it happen dana

tito is just pretty much telling jones to shut up for a while. which is good advice
