wow what was the final score of that game? 21-2 lmao
it wasn't nearly that high
i think it was 13-4 or some shit
damn you had all the rbi's
so far this season i have 289 hits, 64 HR's and 170 somethin' RBI's
tryin' to get 300 hits, 74 HR's and 192 RBI's[stubby]
got like 15 or so games to go
been battin' like doo doo for the past two weeks worth of games[game]
just went 0-4
just hit HR #65[stubby]
added 3 RBI's for a total of 176
also stole a base for a total of 177[stubby]
i need to play this game..
everytime i go to blockbuster to rent it, it's gone. they only got 2 copies of it but got like 10 of 2k7 which never leaves the shelf...
i've been playing MVP 2005 still
Comparing the gameplay to MVP 05, is it better??
and what are the differences??...because im really thinking of getting the Show 07....
The only reason I havent tried The Show 06 or 07 is because when MVP 05 came out, the gameplay was so good, simple to figure out, and addicting that I just dont trust any other baseball game engine....in face MVP 05 is still the only game I go back to playing....I tried all star and the 2K series and they are both trash....
i never played MVP 05
the last baseball game i had bought was MLB 99 from EA sports
i just won the world series last night[stubby]
It's a good game. I was really impressed with it, and I think it would be a good purchase. Best game since MVP 05, the pitching takes a little getting used to though compared to 05. This game craps all over 2k7 though
If 2K fixed the fielding it would be the best baseball game out. I love the game. I love the way it's geared around working the count into your favor, and the pitching with the breaking point is dope.
i just set the single season record for HR's =]
So it's not absolute and total garbage like last year? That must have been one hell of a make over
Wow it actually improved a lot on last year and previous years. I see what you were talking about with the fielding. I hate that it seems so choppy though on my PS2 whereas the Show seemed to run smoother. I might get a 360 though and will deffinetely get 2k7 for it though...
The fielding though is something they really havent got right even over the last couple years. Everything seems so closed in and you have no sense of distance it seems.
Good game though...I'm really surprised at the strides...
goddammit- i accidentally saved over my SS's career[game]
now i gotta start all over
i was destined for the hall of fame too =[
After playing 2K7 i'm taking back a lot of what I said. The player ratings on this game are screwy as hell, and it ages players weird and things like that.
The Show defineteley the better game this year
still playin' triple A ball :getyou:
damn braves ain't callin' me up
I haven't finished a season or simmed ahead, so I can't comment on the franchise option.
But the gameplay is dope and the presentation (load the bases and see what I mean) totally shits on other baseball games. It's things like that that give it the extra edge for me.
well, my 2B finished up a 2 yr contract with the braves, and signed a 1 yr deal with the yankees
the roster is fuckin' loaded for NYY[wow]
at SS alone, we got derek jeter, hanley ramirez, and miquel tejada[wow]
still got A-rod, plus got carl crawford, jermaine dye & matt holliday in the OF(no bobby abreu or jason giambi)
got youkilis at 1B
plus ben sheets got signed too
should be a lock to repeat(NYY won the world series last season while i was still on the braves)
oh wait- abreu is still on the team[wow]
wow- just figured out that home is by far the EASIEST base to steal[wow]
