contrary to what gal said, if you want to gain weight you'll need to put your caloric intake above what you burn. I have to lose weight so I take in about 1.8-2.2k cal and burn about 4k a day, so net -2.2-1.8k cal. about 1-2lbs a week if I'm dialed in on my diet. you burn 3.5k a day, if you workout about 500-1k extra. so you'll look to take in about 3.5-4k cal a day.
you want lean red meat. fish. and lots of carbs. good carbs, mind you, but higher carbs than protein. what's your weight? 180? so you'll look at like, 200-225g protein a day, 200-250g carbs and like 40-50g fat per day, with high carb days being like 300g. oatmeal, brown rice, Ezekiel bread, butternut squash, sweet potatoes. complex carbs that are good but high in carbs. shit even pizza.
lean red meat. fish. eggs. then chicken and lean fish if necessary. yogurt is good too. nuts. etc.
bulking is fun. I've just been maintaining. jan 1 is go hard. 20lbs in 4 months to get to 180/175lb for my april competition. gonna be ripped. good luck at bulking.
That's good info Z. Thanks! I have an extremely high metabolism so it's been hard for me. naturally i burn about 2k a day and intake about 800-1000 more than that. I think i'll need to double that to really have any affect.
Grilled Chicken, Oatmeal, Egg whites, Peanut Butter, Brown Rice.
Fish are good to I guess. I don't eat fish personally but it's just because I don't like the taste.
Someone told me that i should eat a spoon of peanut butter a day. :-|
Not a peanut butter fan? Judging by your metabolism, you'll be running through a jar'a'day..

Not that i don't like it but i can't imagine liking it after awhile.

1 Pack Colby / Monterey Jack Shredded Cheese (though white cheese is supposed to be better for you, tbh)
2 Packs of Tyson Southwest Pepper Trio Seasoned Boneless / Skinless Chicken.
