Apparently there was some incident backstage
all via Dana and twitter
really? Its not bcuz he SUCKS!
lol no shit man
his last fight i was embarrassed for him, I bet some of the dudes he trained on the TUF show coulda took him out no problem.
he should stick with bully beatdown
He also fought the CB fight with a blown out knee......still very disappointed in Mayhem.
Wow. Can't say he doesn't deserve what he got though.
Mayhem has always had some skills as a fighter he just would rather goof off than prepare/fight properly.
^Naw, he has some skills but he talks WAY to much for his own good. He isn't UFC ready, straight up. Two bad losses and he doesn't prepare well? EVERYONE said b4 both fights this guy looked like the best fghter ever.
I remember after getting his ass kicked by Bisbing too he had an interview with Karyn Bryant asking why he didnt look himself out there (in the Octagon) because he looked so amazing in the gym...The fighter, Jason, is great, but his opponents are just that much better.
since dana didn't wanna tell ive been looking for the reason that he was officially let go
i think without the incident he should have been let go. not only has he lost but they were both very poor performances. i watched the fight live and wondered how this guy was even considered to face bisping.
i agree with busta, bully beatdown was much more entertaining than his fights
The problem with Jason is that those Bullies ended up being his only opponents for a year, and he has never handled a normal opponent since
Mayhem Miller was never that good. That's right.
Just admit it.
I was never a big Mayhem fan, but certainly one has to admit that his last two UFC fights he looked like he was fighting on drugs.
Honestly he didn't look much different then someone who realized all eyes were on him and he couldn't back up his word.
Then you weren't paying close enough attention.
Awkward footwork, awkward striking, constantly flailing around as if to get himself through a rough moment.
It's one thing to get beat, but he acted as if he was only striking for a few days.
...he sucks...Now his opponents don't...
He gave me a lot of hope in the GSP fight, a lot of people felt that way,
Honestly, if he kept progressing from that point, I see no reason why he and GSP wouldn't be 1 and 2 on the best P4P.
With that same logic I don't see why Matt Serra couldn't have become the p4p king if he kept his mind right.
The fact is every dog has his day, and on Miller very best day, he lost. Miller is one of those guys who loses with just enough style that it skews people's judgment of him. Good for him for being entertaining and having fans, hopefully he can find a better living doing another show.
Matt Serra landed a lucky punch.
Miller consistently put GSP in bad positions.
I won't even lie that fight he almost dropped CB it was entertaining. But he is bad business.
It was the GSP two fights removed from a highlight reel sub loss against Matt Huges.
The beast GSP didn't really start consistently showing up until after the Serra fight. He began to see the importance of having horizontal opponents.
Hughes was thought to be pretty much un-fucking-stoppable at that point in his career.
