Alright. I know people on here either play it, have played it or have heard a lot about it. If you don't understand some basic MMO references, just ask and I'll clarify. If you have some questions about the game, I'd be happy to answer those aswell. So then, do you play World of Warcraft? Have you ever? What level did you get to? If you got to max level, did you continue playing afterwards? Me, personally, I'm on and off with the game. I typically only play with friends and we are always max level. I'm usually more akin to raiding and don't typically PvP. If you haven't tried it, I suggest you do. The game is extremely polished (might be the most polished online game out), it's world is rich with story and lore, controlling your character is very fluid which makes you feel very 'into' the game and it has excellent fanfare (voice acting, item and character appearances, achievements, et cetra). I expect a lot of you to not really give a shit about story or anything. That's cool, because a lot of people that play don't either. Actually, you might even get insulted for expressing your like for the story/mythos. Anyways, they provide a free weeks trial which lets you progress through the first 20 levels. It lets you get a feel for the game, even though it doesn't even let you touch the good parts of it. Some media: People who play Metal Gear Solid and like Liquid Snake will recognize this voice actor. Effectively, each square represents a single player. Below this square are my abilities. To the left and right are the 'chat log' and 'combat log', respectively. Above the combat log are beneficial spells cast on me, while above the chat log is a more in-depth view of players that I am paired with. Some of it may seem overwhelming, but keep in mind this is at the very ends of the game. If you've ever played an online game with enough zeal, be it an FPS, a sports game, a fighting game or an MMO, all games have their intricasies when you're dealing with high level play.
