    1. Intro

Welcome back everyone to the next edition of the RSTL Magazine. This week we had some good beef with GL and Dic going back and forth, which was very entertaining. Other than this, things seem to be pretty slow, not much going down this week. War seems to be upset about voting in the league and seems to have quit the league because of it. It will be very interesting to see who will come out of this week with wins.

    2. Recap

This week we still had some no shows however, despite this, we had some good matches. Let’s see how thing turned out.

Got Life – For a no show verse, you wrote a pretty nice verse. You had good rhymes, a nice flow and a good little story. This was enjoyable to read. I look forward to your next verse.

Vern vs. Narsil – In this match up, Narsil took on Vern who is coming off a heartbreaking lose to Stacey. Vern wrote a verse that had nice twist and when perfectly with his quotes and pictures. The flow and rhymes were good as well. Narsil wrote a good verse although it was shorter than expected. His verse had all the mechanics to be a good story but the length lacked detail to make it good enough to beat Vern. Vern won the match 4-0.

oNeiRiC vs. Kryptikal – oNe and Krypt are coming off wins and were looking to continue their streak. Although this match was terribly slept on, it offered some nice lines and readings. Krypt had a good narration with his verse and the religious point of view was a nice refreshing view on things. oNe wrote a good story with nice rhyme scheme and a good flow. The wording is much improved from your previous verses. Both were even in their mechanics which is why this match ended in a 1-1 tie.

Stacey vs. War – This match was turned out to be a very interesting one. Stacey defeated Vern last week while War won via no show. Both guys wrote verses that were pretty good mechanically. The difference is that Stacey’s verse appeared to be more enjoyable than War’s verse. It wasn’t as though War’s verse was bad; it just wasn’t as appealing as Stacey’s was. Stacey ended up winning this match 4-1.

Dic Vs. Shadow – This match ended up being a one-sided. Shadow’s verse was good and had potential but to the reader’s, Dic’s verse was just better written with better flow, rhymes, imagery and story. The story was delivered better and it seem that the readers just enjoyed it better. Dic won the match easily, 3-0.

The key is to commit crimes so confusing that police feel too stupid to even write a crime report about them.
Randy K. Milholland, Something Positive Comic, 10-30-03

they found him standing at the wall...
coagulated blood dripped from his hands and as it falls
the strangers gather there in awe...
half of them appaled..the other half of them in awe
detectives at the scene....and yea...his family was called
the killer left a note which was a fraction of his flaws
in other words it told us nothing...any man could be involved
the panic would evolve and soon this ameture would stall
or maybe stumble but...a cover up...was handed to the law
about as random as us all seven murders in seven days
with different fingerprints set to give a us a single set of ways
people can die...what happened next would make a reverand prey
heavens gates opened wider and wider....for heavens sakes
heavy crates of slaghtered victims it weakened the strong mind
a pleasentville became prison to people of all kinds
what made it worst was the trend and the sequence they all died
101 victims in the wrong place at the wrong time
but the day that we saw signs inside this terrible slaughter
an old man of 100... then it went in numerical order
in age from 100 to 1 and using various torture
and on the 93rd victim you find the hair of your daughter

seven murders in seven days...it starts with this young lady
and by the time my works complete maybe you'll come save me
we can have lunch maybe...oh im sorry im just crazy
i forgot that months ago i murdered the lunch lady
you found her tongue hanging from her pocket with a note
and it had a little riddle in the topic was a qoute
sacrafice a 100 to save 1....you all thought it was a joke
so as time moves they'll get younge... i wont stop its, not a hoax

...and he didnt, and as he stated a 100 died in a row
he left us the clues basically all tied in a bow
a different set of finger prints every time on the notes
forensic records state the next person to die wouldn't know
its hard describing so i wont....they got younger with each death
but the shocker was the finger prints was the person we'd see next
bleeding, burned, or drowed... face down on the beach steps
we stressed and it got worse we were freigtned with each breath
no reset...no recess...these deaths were enough to please him
every letter provided clues we never discussed the reason
why someone would do this and say that it was just for freedom
until we figured out the truth...it left us digusted even
100 pieces to be exact...with each piece hiding an clue
and on the last kill ...the puzzle.... i guess was finally thru
until it came in perspective and it provided the truth
a simple phrase that read in red...the next dying is you
he started tying his shoe...and before he lifted his head
he tasted the rotton metal his lips kissing the lead
you could've finished he said...he took a look in the mirror
then stared death in the eyes...then pulled the trigger instead

    Im missing a piece...

And its killing me slowly as I bleed from the chest
My sub conscious speaks of my need for a rest....
Its a grievious wound but not of the flesh...
See I gave her my heart and all she left was a mess
I miss her caress her crooked smile before sex
The intent in her eyes when she would ly on the bed...
But now Im crying instead while I bleed from the chest
Gettin light in the head my skin is burnin like fury...
Lethaly wounded by the only one who could cure me...
And I hate that I love her people tell me its wrong....
But I've longed for her touch since the day I was born
And my mother is scorned said Im breakin her heart..
How could I be such a sickening flaming miserable twat...
Momma it rips me appart... I really need yer respect...
But now that she's left I bleed from the chest....
And its killing me slowly as I'm missing the piece...
The other half of myself she is me on repeat...
So I kept chasin and chasin till the end of the road
Cause how could I leave such an amazing piece of my soul
But the ending was cold and now I bleed from the chest...
She couldnt not take the stress n said she'd rather be dead..
And yes I feel bad But I loved and couldnt resist her

    Got Life?

“I've arrived at this outermost edge of my life by my own actions. Where I am is thoroughly unacceptable. Therefore, I must stop doing what I've been doing.”
    - Alice Koller, An Unknown Woman, 1982

She was a fourteen year old girl faking cancer,
Hoping that out there a loving man would answer,
That he would romance her and dance her-
Off into the moonlight and maybe finance her,
Dream wedding as they’d encapsulate time forever,
And each step she took towards this endeavor,
Left her betrayed forever in the cold lonely weather,
For no matter whatever she’d promise…whenever-
The truth came out, the girl once brandished as clever,
Was shunned, a true love she would find...never ever.

    5. Matchups

    Championship
    1. Dicnyaeye 5-0
    2. Stacey James 3-0

Predictions – This should be battle of the week material. I believe that both writers will be writing to their top strength and if Stacy wants any chance of winning he/she will need to start voting. I believe Dic will win this matchup, 3-0.

    Contender
    3. oNeiRiC 5-8
    4. Kryptikal 2-0
    5. Vern Acular 2-1

Predictions – This triple threat match will be interesting since oNe and Krypt both tied each other the previous week. I think they will put up a good fight but Vern, if he votes, should take this with a 3-0 win.

    6. Got Life? 2-0
    7. ShadowWarriorfs 20-16

Prediction – This will be the third time these two writers face each other. In previous match-ups Shadow has had the upper hand and is 1-0-1 against GL. I believe that this week, GL will quit messing around and take this match 3-0.

    8. WarMachine 3-2
    9. Narsil 2-2

Prediction – This will be interesting seeing as though War said he was signing out this week but failed to do it in the sign out thread. I think that if he writes to win, he will beat Narsil, who I thought signed out this week, 3-0 or both will no show since they both wanted out this week.

    10. Xiej 1-2
    11. Keynote 0-0

Predictions – I think Xiej will win because Key will no show.

    10. Grinds My Gears – You know what really grinds my gears, bipolar women. It’s not like women aren’t already emotional, confusing, irritating creatures but now more and more are becoming bipolar. Now, I don’t know if any of you know any women who are bipolar but if you do, you understand the headache involved in association with these unstable beings. Personally, I believe this label of ‘bipolar’ gives a woman added reason to be suspicious, moody and controlling. My suggestion to anyone who encounters one of these women is to either run or push them down a flight of stairs. Seriously, no one would care. This is what really grinds my gears.

    11. Conclusion – This week was a terrible week when it came to people showing up. We had four no shows this week and it seems that no one cared to vote besides a couple of people. When need to get better at this and I hope we can make a better effort for the upcoming week. Good luck to everyone in their upcoming matches.

thanks for the mag Shadow, perhaps if we didnt have a lounge peeps would give u more feedback on the mag lol

It was interesting that you felt I had equal mechanics with my opponent last week, when I used hardly any multis comparitavely. I felt I was very subtle with a build up and had great emotion. I'm glad you liked it :D
