Couple days old, but still very interesting.

Who do you think would win in a A. Silva/Lyoto fight?

I think it would be one of the more "boring" fights in UFC history.

A lot of countering, a lot of feints, a lot of little action.

I have Anderson winning though, he's the same as Lyoto with heavier hands...

I could just imagine them circling for 5 rounds, feinting, waiting for eachother to make a move and counter.

If they were even a biiit aggressive it would be sick though.

Always a fan of these counter fighters who like to make you make a mistake and capitalize. Or, the fighters who enjoy outpointing a fighter rather than a KO, like Brandon Vera.

Haha didn't even think about that, but now I'm curious too.

I almost wanna say Lyoto would be the favorite because he's undefeated, but more goes into those lines than just records...

I wonder if either one would try and take the fight to the ground at some point, something nobody would expect.

^I think if either did, it would be Lyoto.

Spider has been known to have a somewhat suspect ground-game.

But then again, who the hell knows if Lyoto could do anything if it went to the mat...

I think it would be an interesting fight. Probably one of the more techinical fights in MMA history.

I think Silva would whoop his ass to a decision standing.

The Hendo submission didn't impress you?

Not trying to argue with you, just asking.

Not at all no. Hendo was already reeling from the stand-up. Hendo dominated his ass on the ground in the first round. The submission itself didn't impress, the way he fought that fight did, though.

    Vitor is gonna beat him.

    Remember I said it...

Good point. He got exposed somewhat in that 1st round. Then again, Hendo is one of the best wrestlers in MMA. But, word.

Vitor/Anderson will be dope. Gonna be interesting to see how Anderson deals with Vitor's hand speed and KO power. He hasn't faced a striker this nice yet in the UFC.

Who knows though, Vitor might try and take it to the ground just to surprise people.

Hendo just held him for one round afraid to do anything. WTF. Didn't see Dan taking risks to create distance and finish the fight.

^Maybe dominated was the wrong. I guess eliminated Spider's effectiveness is a better way of putting it.

Don't be surprised if he does. People forget Vitor is a BJJ black-belt...

Well, from the ground work we've seen from Silva in the UFC (Lutter mounting him, though Silva had an injury in that fight supposedly, being controlled by Hendo) you could argue his ground game is vulnerable.

But also, you can say he finished Lutter via triangle (Lutter said himself he tapped from the sub, not the elbows), and finished Hendo via RNC.

I def don't think he's like a Maia or Palhares on the ground, but he looks like he knows what he's doing and can finish you if you're slipping. But, looks like he has a lil bit of trouble with wrestlers too.

Let's not forget the heel hook from Ryo Chonan.

Wtf kinda black-belt gets put into that so easily...

Lmaoo, that shit still is impossible to believe.

How often do you see a flying scissor heel hook in MMA? How often do you see one actually finish a fight? Lmao.

But, watching it again, looks like Silva didn't see it coming at all. Not a lot of people should either, lmao.

But still, if he was a black belt at the time during that fight, that's kinda wack.
