No Tuf thread? Sliiiiiiippin
i'm watching it right now if that counts for anything
The new cinematic stuff is cool for all the shit in between fights but I don't like it for the fights themselves. Frame rate is too low.
i missed it last night because my stupid girlfriend cancelled the recording. links anybody?
Don't worry. You didn't miss anything.
no links but I recommend watching it.
TWO HOURS is a lot to sit through, but I was watching trying to go to bed and I got captivated.
A lot of cool stories, and some of the people you REALLY wish they didn't pair up against each-other right from the get-go. The audience is all the family members of the contestants, which is added drama.
I agree with Chillin on the Special effects part,
what ever they did presentation wise worked and made the show look crisp.
I was watching it on HD though and never noticed framerate issues?
That's how they achieve that High Quality look. By filming it at a lower frame rate. The higher the frame rate the more it looks like you're actually there. The lower the frame rate (to a point) the more it looks like a Movie.
Meh...I thought adding the families was a wildly bad idea and the fights weren't great.....no real drama yet between the coaches (tho rumors say it never happens anyway)
I didn't see any drama with the coaches but it doesn't really matter this season,
their personalities are why they are there.
People want to see Jones championship level attitude lead a team into something other then a pole,
and people for some odd reason just want to see Chael...? (Okay he was funny on the show).
There were maybe 3 fights I can think of that were boring,
two that were GOOD even fights,
and a bunch of great finishes.
This show is just damage control for Jones' image.
NOT to mention the fighters seem pretty knowledgeable this season,
right off the bat Jones first pick got the fighters to make a list of who they wanted to fight,
and presented it to Jon. Jon didn't follow the order but he did pick the fight they wanted.
Wish Chael would stop calling Jon.... "Coach Jones"
thanks, i actually caught this the other day though. it looks like chael is attempting to be "friends" and jones is treating him like a work "friend" (making awkward conversation without telling him how he really feels) which i can't tell if chael is doing that to piss him off more or actually likes him. chael has a way of making me question if his name is even chael.
im not a fan of that cinematic bullshit, it made the fight look fake. but on the other hand i thought the fights were great and i look forward to this season and this so called most brutal ko ever that dana is hyping
