Love is a word mostly spoken by Untrue lips
A word that is used too freely
Misunderstood meanings have broken hearts and crumbled worlds

Broken down the strongest of people
this word holds so much power
It molds our mind that we run around blind
Stuck in a world that does not truely exist

Eyes pour out tears , hands grasp heart , and they Scream
I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME

But those same words tumble off their tongues
Hit the floor and shatter into a thousand peices

Who will ever understand the meaning behind that one single word...

They have definitions of what this word means
but this word is undefineable
Unatainable is the power that it holds
This word "LOVE"

Love has broken down walls of security
Love has laughed in the face of many
but still you think love loves you?

Some people say I want someone to love me
Or do you really?... because how you feel now
When love gets through with you will you feel any better?
Or feel 100 times worse ?

this hit home... i'm feelin depressed myself lately... and all of what u sed is so true... love has broken down the strongest people in its absence... and i'm one of them... i like the poem as a whole because its something alot of people can relate to... it speaks truth... great job.

firstly i would like to kno y u depressed BUT as for this piece...good to see u write'in again...i thought this piece was explained nicely without to much jump'in around...u can sense the sense of frustration wit a hint of fear all emcompassed by pain yet if looked deep within-at least from my point of view i can still see the want to be loved regardless of tha pain...keep it go'in
