    ... fucking loved this season.

he tackles alot of serious issues about age, success, etc.

there's an episode where he is in contention for the new david letterman for late night show.

he's up against seinfeld, and chris rock comes along and spreads rumours about it, etc. - brilliant.

don't know if there's any truth behind the whole thing, but at the end louis ck gives it to letterman.

if you haven't seen it, you should watch season 3, who said comedians couldn't act, fuck he killed it.

    seriously though.

any louis ck fans need to watch season three.

it's the late show trilogy episodes, all three are well worth the watch.

googled if he was a contender for late night show, he wasn't - but i like how the episode is semi based on rocky.

would've been great if there was some truth behind the scene.

    but fucking great episodes nonetheless.

i've seen a few of his episodes and they're not bad at all but i much rather watch his real stand up comedy acts so i stopped bothering with his show. it's a level down to me.

Lost interest by the end of S1. I realised the novelty of the guest roles was holding my interest.

From the very first episode I had the nagging feeling this was another American show made by a guy who's seen the UK Office, who's seen Lost In Translation and thinks all there is to finding humour in awkward real life situations is focusing a camera on a character with an exasperated look plastered on his face. There's no character to sympathise with so the already bland general observations he's making are just meaningless. There's no exploration of the situation, just a crude presentation of it.

Stanhope wants to kill himself because he no longer feels needed. Oh, well that's sad.

    Fuck off.

that's a harsh critique of what i'd consider the funniest american right now.

even if you lost interest, just watch the trilogy episode of the late night show, it's really well written and acted.

i've loved everything he's ever said.

i wanted to hug him when he performed in melbourne.

yeah, didn't address that issue at all.

i know his wife divorced him over a stand up act about the saddest handjob in the world.

    but it was funny nonetheless.

yeah, he is half mexican, lol he always mentions it in his stand ups, he referred to it when he was in melbourne too.

i think i skipped the entire season 2 because i downloaded it and it was just season 1, so i never bothered with it.

i still don't know what CK stands for, what kind of surname is that? two letters? will google.
