I know enough. You know that. What's so unorthodox and metrically creative about this flow? It's totally standard. It's great, fully rhythmic, yeah... but it isn't any uncharted territory. You think he does stuff like Way I Am and invents an entire new style on every track just because he can alter his voice and pitch? That's Gift of Gab, not so much Em. What Jay-Z did on Empire State of Mind, that's a new flow for him... Reasonable Doubt's his best album, but there's not much different between his flow on every song - he follows the 4/4 beat, makes sure his rhymes land on it most of the time, that his support schemes hit metrically, and comes offkilter with lines here and there with an odd scheme or two... and it works to classic extent. Most of the time, Jigga's "new flows" are rhyming on and offbeat differently every bar, but still having rhythm and cadence. Same thing Em does 90% of the time. Same thing Canibus does, and he's a very metronomic MC in how he rides a beat, which is all rhythm is. You're throwing cadence, delivery, and rhythm all into the pot because flow is so generally encompassing.
