... or most "human" prophet that god sent.

    - adam had no father, no mother.
    - noah built an arc, lived 900+ years.
    - jonas lived in a whale.
    - moses split the sea, filled the rivers with blood, staff to snake.
    - jesus had a miraculous birth, walked on water, water to wine, etc.

    then we have prophet muhammad.

no miraculous birth, no real miracles perse (apart from the message - qur'an).

he died a normal death, at a normal age, just like us normal human beings.

was there a reason god sent the closest to humans as his final messenger?

another question to fellow believers, did jesus ever claim to be the final?

if not, then why do you find it so difficult to accept muhammad as a prophet?

coup, don't answer because you're on ignore - i won't read any of it.

zyclon, feel free to add your two cents bruh.

Mohammad was not a prophet of God. He was just a man bothered by devils.

a prophet is actually suppose to make the prophecy, not fulfill it...
otherwise...who originally prophecized the prophecy listing the gifts which the prophet is supposed to operate in office of?

Yes. A prophet makes the prophecy. Apparently paul wrote ephesians, which is where the offices are listed.

There was always talk of prophets and prophetess’ at my parents’ church.

I’m surprised they’re not looked upon as cultists like Joseph Smith was. Whether you’re using a seer stone to read god’s word off of imaginary golden plates you found in the forest, or just having psychedelic visions, it’s all gobble-d-guck.

    Who’s fucking this chicken?

well, PB, what i was guiding you into is, if there were genuine prophets who prophecized of a savior's arrival, which jesus filled nicely by being a prophet himself, why does this make jesus the last and final genuine prophet? why are all psychic experiences labeled as heresy by the collective mind of the "church"

they're not. there are many prophets walking today that are recognized by the church. maybe not the pedophiliac vatican, but by actual believers and followers.

jesus never claimed to be the final prophet. he simply claimed that he was the son of god and the way to heaven was through him - which i interpret as through god - since jesus was apparently just the physical representation of god, just as the holy spirit is the spiritual representation of god. they're not different beings, they're one in the same.

muhammed was not the final prophet. there will be no final prophet until the human species is wiped.

we dont think that(christian majority). There are prophets today. But theres a difference between a prophet and a psychic.

The bible says. "I will do nothing, except that I first tell my prophets"

then why can't any modern day psychic be considered a prophet, even when legitimate, while not adhering to the strict rules of christianity? why can't there be a propher that explains in what ways the bible is wrong, just as the prophets of yore explained why what came before them was wrong?

if you're all thinking of prophets that will have a worldwide audience, you're looking in the wrong places.

i don't know who PB is referring to, but in the christianity that i am aware of, we believe there are prophets. you are supposed to be aware of false prophets, but real ones exist.
