will IS hiphop... he had arguably the illest dj in the game ever... hits for ages...and brought hiphop to the forefront of the american people... hes done more for hiphop then most of the people who we consider "hiphop"... and for everyone saying 'i want that old school sound back"... nas tried it..will tried it...when anyone tries it you diss them..but then say "it aint like it used to be"...

    I agree 100%......

but i don't think it's that people really want the Old School sound back...I think they want something new that can hit them like the Old School sound did back when it was new....You feel me??? Sorta like people are acking for something brand new and raw.....

The first 6 bars in his second verse explaines shtt, especially the line when he said "cats forgeting when i was imature spitting" or some shtt like that. cats really forgot will smith was a pioneer. im still mad how cats forgot about what LL Cool J did for the game. you aint gotta like the records.. but you gotta respect dudes. will and cool J will always have are mark in the game and are welcome back when ever they want to.. like it or not.

and shtt.. this record was kinda dope lol. i aint expecting too much out of will.. im expect corny lyrics with some cool multis, a club beat, catchy tune, and most of all.. that feel good vibe. he did all that on this record

i think well never be able to get that feeling..if we dont stop living in the past... people steadily talk about 94...trust me...94 was my favorite time period...but just like we from then and dont like newer shit... theres 88'ers who felt the same way about 94...and 79'ers who felt the same way about 88....

so our generation gotta learn to love the music again..for what it is...not what it was...and then we can get that feeling...

songs in the last 5 years that have given me that "feeling":

    freeway- what we do
    jayz- you dont know
    eric sermon- react
nas- what comes around goes around
    prodigy- keep it thorough
    jada- the champ is here
    Dre- still D.R.E.
MOP-ante up (wrecked my car te first time i heard this)
    ghostface- one
    dipset- who am i
    jae millz- no no no
    50 cent- what up gangsta
    mobb deep- quiet storm
    kool g rap- first nigga
    royce- boom
    big l- platinum plus
    luda- southern fried intro

and thats just namin ONE from each artist that i can think of... but people are so quick to dismiss shit...that they refuse to like anything...
