    just listening to Hunger For More and damn the amount of effects on his banks's voice

    Lots of mc's use effects on their voices, no problem with that.

    yeah i know reverb is used by all rappers..but listen to hunger for more...especially on tha chrous's it sounds different

    i dunno maybe its just my bootleg version

    Nah, he uses vocal doubling and standard amounts of compression with a few taylored delays. You just hear it stand out more in silences. He puts delays on his adlibs too. That's not much.

    Your bootleg version emphasizes the mid-range frequencies (where the vocals sit) so effects and doubles that usually get masked by the instrumental probably stick out more.

    banks is one of my fav out righ tnow but he making any fired up joints no right now that i am hearing and i am HOPING he doesnt come out sounding like 50 new album

    I've been a professional audio engineer for a year. I went to the Conservatory of Recording Arts and have since been tracking and mixing in project studios and been doing sound reinforcement at theatres and live venues.

    I haven't gotten into mastering yet..
