Lebron and the Cavs need to figure out how to win in the second half of the season.

    5 losses in a row?

Lets wait till Lebron leads his team into the playoffs before we Crown him anything.

    True.

I saw this coming before it got national attention. And 5 losses isn't their worst losing streak of the season- plus the Pistons were in this streak twice so it's not as bad as it looks- even though it's still bad.

Last year 31-21 at asb. This year 31-21 at asb.

Last year, 1-6 start second half.. this year 1-5 start (more than likely 1-6 because it's a back to back and it's on the road.. they suck in both situations).

However, I think they can make the playoffs even if they go 11-19 in the second half like they did last year. The eastern conference just isn't as good. A 42-40 season might do it- just like 42 wins would've did it in most other years.

    I'm used to it.

    It's like Kobe's love/hate ad campaign.

There's a reason for the hate.

    I enjoy it.

looks like you guys are collapsing just you guys did at the same point last season.

have fun watching Miami and Detroit in the Eastern Conference finals. and i stand by my statement that Cleveland isn't getting past the first round.

Close win for the Cavs against the Bulls. They win by 1 point ( tough ft miss for Hinrich).

Yet, on that final play, you had newly acquired Murray, hit the big 3 pointer to win the game.

Lebron James had the ball and was driving to the basket with seconds left, but you could tell he was tentative, because he didn't go strong. Good thing for him the double team came over and that opened up Flip from corner.

Lebron made the correct pass, and Flip knocked it down... but it sort of reinforces the idea that Lebron doesn't want the final shot, similar to Garnett looking for someone else at the buzzer.

There will be another 'whoever,' but from what I've seen , I don't think Lebron could ever be the next MJ, he isn't in the mold of a Michael Jordan. I know that 'lack of killer instinct' line might be getting old, but it's showing to be more truth than fiction.

Killer instinct doesn't necesarilly mean, having productive 4th quarters... its a matter of having ice in the veins and be willing and wanting to take that final shot with the utmost confidence.

I don't know what makes you say that..

It was a good trade, I'll give you that.. we got him by giving up Mike Wilks, a guy who played negative 18 minutes a game for us, and Flip-- even before tonight-- had made MUCH more of an immediate impact than Wilks ever had... but I don't know why "getting flip" was the best thing to ever happen to him.

I highly doubt Flip will even be in a Cavs uni by the start of the 06-07 season.

It doesn't necesarilly mean either of the two.

It's a combination of the two.

The final shot is called "clutch shot".

Killer Instinct is wanting to take the game over when it needs to be. Both ends of the floor.. offensively, defensively.. Shooting, passing.. all of the above. When a guy takes the game over in the most important part of the game. And most importantly: making PLAYS.

Taking the last shot is part of it, not the definition of it.

Well Bron did assist in the final play but...

Leading by 25, Cleveland needed a late three to overcome the Bulls and snap a five-game skid.

LeBron James went scoreless in the last 7:40.

All this hate is pointless. Dude is like 5-6 years away from his prime. I personally think he's still trying to find exactly what his game is. He's learned how to put up a good statline, but he hasn't fully learned how to carry his team when they're struggling. He'll get there, just show some fucking patience.

People act like Jordan came into the league and just started winning championships. No, Jordan had to develop his game and evolve into the player he became. Even then he needed decent players around him before he was able to win anything.

I understand that. I never said anything about last night, and I didn't say last nights performance was 'killer instinct' style basketball.

But one game (or 5) doesn't help support your argument.

I love how they point out "LeBron over the last 5 games". Is it any coincidence that 4 of those 5 games have been losses and one needed a game winning 3 pointer to be a win? [funny] (not nesscarily directed at you Cigma but DUH).

Who's the dumbass? LeBron? He's just keeping it 110% real.

That's why I repeatedly thanked Larry Bird when he traded him. Not only that, but traded him for a guy with weak defense.

The Cavaliers only loss to the Pacers this year was when Artest put the clamp down on LeBron and the Pacers won by 20. He did it again the other night when the Cavs and Kings met up.

Artest plays better D against him than anyone in the NBA. They have similar builds and Artest is very physical and stops him from doing everything that he likes to do offensively.

The Pacers are a potential first round matchup as well.. of course he's glad Artest is in the west. That'd be like Yao or Brad Miller not being happy about Shaq going to the east.

    Thank you.

Whoever it was that talked about Kobe's fading down the stretch when Utah swept L.A had a good point as well.
