    You couldn't spit fire
if you swallowed a gallon of gas - regurgitated it - and lit a lighter
you liar - you must be the half a man from that show with John Cryer
I'm from the times when we rolled the dutches and backwoods
didn't need no gat to clap hoods - left you in crutches -
and watchin' ya back by walkin' backwards
taught the kids how to avoid bids and stash goods
    walkin' in them snowy nights
and the el producto queen beams providin' our only light
damn man - that was the life
taught you those capers - walkin' around blastin' Naughty by Nature -
    e'rythings gonna be alright...
"if you ain't from the ghetto - stay the f#ck outta the ghetto"
and we'd walk thru just for spite
we said f#ck ya bandanas and let them colors bleed
let the others flee before we start chop blocking and boxin' in the street
bloodied ya face until you couldn't see - who knew you shouldn't bully me

who knew you shouldn't bully me....you shouldn't bully me
....jus' let it be..jus' f#ckin' let it be

Now these new kats got old dreams of turnin' rich
ya boy turned and snitched - now the precinct is burnin' bricks
    you gone and slipped -
listenin' to them kats who never even been off the block
claimin' gangsta and milkin' life out of mom and pops - it gotsta stop
at some point they'll be all you got
just tryin' to pass some fast words of wisdom to those who listen
the same kats who dream of cash, clothes and women
sittin' on the steps smokin' hash ain't gonna help you bank a million
and cuz you think ya lifes lost - doesn't mean you have to pass that same thought - off to ya children

i wasn't really feelin it till the second verse, which was nice man.

liked this the most, especially the first two bars, means more when you can relate to something someones sayin.

felt the flow in the second verse, for the most part anyway, couldn't really catch it in the first

actually, after reading it again, the first verse opens pretty nice, i like the first two lines but just can't catch the flow, which is hard when u haven't heard it.

    this was nice too...

    Appreciate the words man.
The first half was def. off.
I was thinkin' about the days wonderin' around smokin' with my cousin more than the verse.

    Good lookin' out.
