Since there aren't enough women on this forum to post a thread for each brand comin out with new stuff, I'll just make a monthly thread for releases from various brands (unless more women start posting).

Nike Womens Air Force 1 - Varsity Maize

    Quoted from source:
"Nike is continuing their simple approach on the Air Force 1, just a few days ago, a varsity purple and white womens colorway was released. We just got word on another fresh womens colorway featuring varsity maize and white. Two textures of varsity maize leather is used on the body of this Air Force 1, a textured patent leather is applied on the toe area, eyelets and heel while smooth leather is applied to the toebox and side panels. White is used minimally with just the outsole, swoosh and lining in the color. In Asia, you can find this colorway at select Nike retailers but for those in the US, they will release on January 24th, 2009. "

Nike WMNS Air Classic BW - White - Vivid Pink - Black

    Quoted from source:
"The Air Classic BW’s comeback continues into 2009 following a nice set of retro releases towards the end of 2008. Nike Sportswear designers have cooked up something for the ladies with a clean white/vivid pink - black colorway that will satisfy those who won’t be able to fit into the persian violet colorway we showed you not too long ago. This Air Classic BW features a mostly white sole with the vivid pink showing up on the mid-sole around the Nike Air bubble. The upper is also mostly white with a black, nubuck/patent leather strip going around the entire shoe and around the front of the toe-box topped off by a patent leather, vivd pink swoosh and the vivd pink cushioning around the heel/ankle. Look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers, or pick them up online."

    Nike Dunk Low WMNS CL

    Quoted from source:
"There haven’t been as many Nike Dunk Lows released as some other models recently, but here’s one that is bound to provoke some interest. This Nike Dunk Low will be available in WMNS sizes only and come in a very clean, feminine medium grey/pink glaze - white colorway. The shoe is mostly grey, with the exception of a white out-sole, pink Swoosh and multi-colored inner fabric. The upper, although only accented by the pink swoosh that is sorrounded by grey, is well balanced with different materials such as suede and textured leather. Look for these at your local Nike Sportswear accounts that carry WMNS sizes."

    Reebok Freestyle High Stripes

    Quoted from source:
"Not to be outdone by its colourblocked cousins, the iconic Reebok Freestyle is back as part of a slew of strappy releases as part of the Spring 2009 collection. Featuring thick coloured stripes alternating with white, these have the feel of an old barber shop or your grandpa’s favorite candy. If that weren’t sweet enough, there are a quartet of shiny colourways, ensuring that you’ll never run out of flavor. They may not have a true monopoly on hot RBK releases, but mita comes through yet again, allowing you to rest easy while they do all the legwork overseas."

    Spring/Summer 2009 Clothes: Key Looks

    See-through and sheer fabrics trend

In Spring and Summer fashion tends to get a little more revealing; we blame it on the heat, and one's desire to show off. So in 2009 turn to the sheer / see-through trend to keep you cool yet sexy. 2009's sheer pieces are a mixture of the soft and feminine, to the opposite extremes of the hardcore sex-kitten.

    Swimwear / Bikinis 2009

Find out what swimwear you'll be wearing when you hit the beach this Summer with our Bikinis 2009 trends guide. Which monikinis should you be wearing? And what style of bikinis? And which designer is making the sexiest, must-have pieces?

    1. Marios Schwab married the one-shouldered bikini with the cutaway bikini trend on his Spring/Summer 2009 runway at London Fashion Week. This particular piece also uses Summer florals taking what a risqué bikini to a girl level. It's cut and under-strapping make this a particular good piece for smaller chested girls.
    2. Victoria's Secret included a single-shouldered piece in their 2008 line-up. More notable for it's side-tie briefs, this attention grabbing feature makes it a good bikini for girls whose legs are stand out.
    3. A one-shouldered monokini was naturually used on Hervé Léger by Max Azria's Spring/Summer 2009 catwalk but sadly with no-where near the same sex appeal as other pieces in the collection. Read cut-away swimwear below for more
    4. Under his own name Max Azria also sent a single-shouldered monikini down the catwalk, again pairing it with the cut-away trend. This particular piece stands out for it's use of a buckle clasp to join the body fabric with the shoulder. As with piece 3, smaller breasted girls are probably to avoid these particular cuts as they their black fabric will need some filling out to look best.
    5. While not truly a one-shoulder monokini, Gottex's piece from their Spring/Summer 2009 collection has the same visual effect. It's clever halter neck also allows for a more revealing but and better support.
    6. Finally, if you still have access to 2008 pieces; Gucci debuted their sophisticated take on the one-shouldered monokini as a part of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection.

    1. Not as tightly fitting as other 'spray on' monokinis this season, Amanda Wakeley's white one-piece pairs a deep neck line with cut-away sides.
    2. A two-piece with boob-tube, this bikini by Carmen Marc uses the cut-away trend with subtlety. All the same, these cutaway briefs are more than eye catching.
    3. A monokini by Carmen Marc, this swimwear piece is equally as subtle as the aforementioned two-piece, but far more demure.
    4. Similar to Amanda Wakeley's white one-piece (1) this screen-printed monokini is from Miss Sixty.
    5. The most luxurious of the pieces featured, this almost-two-piece monokini from Gottex pairs a halter-neck top, joined briefs, and gold piping.
6 - 10. are all from the one catwalk which screamed sex, decadence, and youth; the one catwalk that really grabbed my eye at New York Fashion Week; Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring/Summer 2009. With enough cut-away than you can possibly wear throughout Summer, these are knock-out pieces that you're not necessarily going to want to get wet.

    Fringed clothing fashion trend

A flow-on from 2008's flapper trend, fringing was a dominant feature of the Spring/Summer 2009 runways. Whether modern and sleek, silken femininity, or showgirl burlesque, fringed dresses in particular should be on every girls to-buy list this summer.

How to wear it? A pair of long, toned legs work wonders for a short fringed skirt; those lacking need to be a tad more cautious. The appeal of fringing also owes alot to the way it moves, so pay careful attention to buying quality fabrics that shimmy and shine and don't clump unattractively together.

    One-Shouldered Tops, Dresses & Bikinis

From single-shouldered dresses to tops and bikinis, asymmetric shoulder-lines have made a huge return in 2009. Showing off one-shoulder in a dress can be subtly sexy and interesting on the eye, and the possibilities for how to wear it are numerous.

Legs and breasts are often a girl's best fashion accessory, but if neither are your strongest features, or you're after something a little less cliché but equally sensual, look to your shoulders and indulge in both the backless fashion trend and the one-shoulder / single-shoulder trend.

    Grecian dresses fashion trend

History and fashion repeat themselves; so don't be surprised to find out that Roman-esque and Grecian inspired clothing are a key fashion trend in 2009. It's both a logical flow on from the one-shoulder trend, and a natural progression from the flapper trend. Both as maxi-dresses and short little numbers, the Grecian dress is one of the key looks that any woman can indulge in.

How to wear it? Make use of the ongoing gladiator sandals trend of course! Pair a more casual Grecian dress with flat, buckled sandals, or a lush flowing gown with strappy heeled shoes. If the dress is plain, team it up with some exotic statement ***ellery to bring it well into 2009.

    Butterflies: 2009 Motif

Feminine, ethereal and a symbol of renewal. The butterfly takes over from the star as the motif du jour in 2009. Don't fall into the trap of glitzy blingy kitch though - the butterfly this summer is all about elegance.

How to wear it? Exactly as per our advice about the star trend: avoid the kitchy. If you decide to dabble in butterflies in the coming warmer seasons, ensure they remain delicate, elegant and sophisticated; feminine but not too girly.

    Continued...

    J.ewel-encrusted Clothing Trend

It's not the first time bej.ewelled pieces have been a hit over the past few years. But in 2009 they return brighter, bolder, and more elegant. This time around pieces are not just embellished but often completely encrusted by j.ewels; the feeling is luxurious, exotic, and yet the glamour remains somewhat understated.

*No pics because j.ew is censored in image links*

How to wear it? This is the one Spring/Summer 2009 trend that you won't need to pile your statement j.ewellery on with. Each j.ewel-studded piece should be a statement of its own: make it stand out. As with most runway trends, also be wary of how this translates to high-street versions; quality is paramount when it comes to j.ewel detailing.

    Exposed Stomach / Midriff

Please consider this the one 2009 fashion trend I am truly scared of, not because I don't like the intention (supermodels' stomachs? Perfect!) but because the implementation has the potential to go completely awry. If you though muffin top was horrible, imagine how bad an exposed midriff trend can go? Ladies, hit the gym.

Who should wear it? Skinny girls only.

How to wear it? Only following a thousand sit-ups each morning, paired with other statement pieces, particularly other Spring/Summer 2009 fashion trends. The reason being that, alone, an exposed stomach may come off looking nothing short of tarty; paired with another fashion trend, however, and you're going to look fashion forwards.

    Fairy-Tale Romance: 2009 Runway Trend

It's not the most practical of trends when it comes to every-day wear; but the romantic fairy-tale princess dress certainly had it's place on the runway for Spring/Summer 2009. Romantic details and classic fairytale silhouettes will make their mark on red carpets and down church isles: but don't be dismayed, there are practical applications for Romantic elements as well. Do not wear on casual outings to Starbucks and else-like places.
