Dipset is hot, the Game is one of the best right now, if you don't appreciate gangster music then just admit it and quit hatin.

This Jay album is subpar at best, I used to like him too.

Look, I see where yall kids are coming from that are trying to diss Game, but yall got it twisted.

You're looking at these guys in the wrong light though.

Check it you can't analyze Shaq and call him ass because he doesn't have an outside jumper, Shaq is a center and the best at what he does.

    Take it to rap.

The Game, can be lyrical at times, but that's not typically his style. He's just a gutter gangster rapper, and one of the best AT WHAT HE DOES.

On the flip side Jay Z is the best at what he does as well.

Respect them for what they are, if you don't appreciate his style then you can't really bag on him. I hate country but that doesn't make Tim McGraw or whoever ass, that style simply doesn't appeal to me.

You can't compare Allen Iverson to Shaq, the same rules apply with rap.
The Game and Jay Z are two very different rappers which you have to appreciate their subgenre first to appreciate them.

Yeah I value lyricism and true depth... but only if it's in a good song. Aesop Rock brings 'lyricism' and 'depth', but I can't stand to listen 10 seconds of his shit

Jay's album is aight, he brings some good lyrics and I like how he went for concepts. But the beats are boring, most of the hooks are boring, none of the concepts really worked that well except maybe Lost Ones, and the album as a whole just isn't great to listen to

Throw on Doctor's Advocate and it's hard to turn that shit off again... if all you want is 'depth', listen to some political commentary on the radio or somethin. Personally I'd rather listen to Game's album than Jay's every time...

I'ma HUGGGGEEE Jay fan but this album is pretty ass to me, IMO....

There's a few ill tracks but the majority of it is trash IMO... From beats, to hooks, to feeling some of it sounds forced.... IMO, the feel I got for this album is that he "tried too hard"....

to me, it sounds like he was tryna satisfy the underground and mainstream (pop culture) too much.... like, he had tracks that were TOOOOOOOOOOOOO pop on another level 'n just kinda corny almost but then he had tracks that were more "underground/conceptual" content-wise than anything he's ever dropped.... I dunno... Maybe I'm wrong....... I gotta hear it more but so far, I'm not feelin' it....... AND CALL ME A HATER ALL U WANT BUT I THINK HOV IS SICK 'N I LOVE DU'S MUSIC....

Maybe it's cuz I expected the world, stars, moon, 'n galaxy from him....
