I own 3 of them. various weights.. jus wondering who else gets down on KB's?
what is your set/rep routine?
depends on the day. cardio days i'll do kb swings, kb burpees, kb high pulls and kb 1 arm press. strength i'll do kb rdl's, kb goblet squats, kb squat n press...
so many variations.
my favorite cardio workout is 11 kb sidestep swings into 11 kb frog jump squats into 11 explosive pushups onto a kb, 11 sets of those 3 workouts in 11 minutes.
have maxed at 6 sets. tryin to get to 11 sometime.
I've been lazy for too long now but when I went to the gym regularly, they were real convenient for things like front and side rises. Overhead extensions maybe too.
They're a great weight-loss tools ~ ra.pid weight shred.
Then again, you can do the majority of workouts with dumbbells as well, but it's a different grip and mental workout that could help get over a plateau.
cool. I squat/press...standing swings...jump squats...curls...so many variations like you said.
I hardly touch my weight bench anymore. KB's all day.
You can but you will notice your limitations with dumbbells. the KB's handles allow more movement, thus more angles to hit hidden muscles.
kettlebell RDL's >>>>> any dumbbell variation
This is very true. The different grip not only stresses muscles in a different way, it gives you different options. Again...the variations aren't exactly night and supernova differences but it CAN BE a difference ranging from say...noon to Twilight. Depending upon your level of experience, fitness, and the intensity and creativity of your training programme.
I prefer bodyweight exercises over all others...
I mix all kinds of bodyweight and athletic protocols with resistance training. Kicking it into overdrive for competitions lasting all the way to November this year.
