Good deal too. the 1090 series goes from 10 lbs to 90 lbs each dumbbell. it's an investment, so of course i had to get that, as opposed to the 552 series which goes only up to 52.5 lbs, which is a warm up set on a bench press.

just got it in the mail. shit looks intense.

only problem is dumbbells are long as fuck, but they look sexy as hell, and very easy to adjust the weight.

i used to have the old bowflex pro system but resistance bands dont feel like real weight, so i was turned off by it and used it as a shelf for my clothes for the past couple years. i sold it and added some more guap to get this new shit, which IS real weight and you can't really beat free weights. no need for a spotter since it's not a barbell.

it was either this, or powerblocks...and powerblocks dont even look like dumb bells. they're like space age technology. like i said, i got a nice deal on these...over 300 less than retail.

nah its not the same at all. few can get in great shape at home. it takes a lot more motivation, determination, and mind power to work yourself out at home consistently as well as you can in the gym.
